ymlc

just got back from ymlc.
really really learnt alot.
about the methodist history, foundation...
what makes us all christian.
how we are all interconnected with all other denominations of christians, like the catholics, the anglicans,... etc.
the basic foundation of it all- love.
weslyan stuff including history, methods, stuff we can learn and try to apply...
transparency.
accountability.
submission.
rising up.
experienced different worship styles.
very different indeed.
felt rather strange, needed time to adjust myself.
the almost instant swtich from worship songs to LOUD FAST praise songs and back to worship songs.
didn't give me time to really dwell and enjoy God's presence.
rather i felt...
stunned and at a lost whenever there were such abrupt switches.
but yah.
realised i'm not the only kid with struggles.
and many other kids my age struggle with the same stuff.
got to know robyn much better. (:
i really like robyn!
she's just so SWEET! (:
got to know sam better too.
i feel like whacking him everything i see him, cause his so.......
somewhat annoying and yet somewhat lame and funny.
really respect my mentor.
got to talk to clara a whole lot
and share with her my views and struggles with many things.
talked to tch too.
admire ching/jing hui a whole lot too.
think she's really matured and wise and very talented.
yep. that's about the few that really impacted me during ymlc.

by the way
i'll be leaving on the 19th to the 26th.
aussie here i come.
honours night. sigh.
i gotta talk to mr mark ng tmw and ask if i could be excused from honours night,
and if i'm able to get my cert for honours night before the 19th
so i can bring it over to aussie.
hmmm.
